Reality TV stars Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian recently made headlines with their visit to India. The sisters travelled to attend the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, an event that attracted considerable media attention.
During their stay, Kim and Khloe also took time to explore the spiritual side of India. Accompanied by renowned life coach Jay Shetty and his wife Radhi Devlukia-Shetty, they visited the ISKCON temple. The Kardashian sisters were seen in elegant long dresses, complemented by colourful Indian dupattas, embracing the local culture. Their visit included a conversation with the temple’s priest, a moment captured in photos that have since gone viral on the internet.
In addition to their spiritual visit, the Kardashians were seen engaging in charitable activities. Photos shared on social media depict Kim and Khloe holding food buckets and serving local underprivileged children. The joy on the children’s faces as they received the food was heartwarming, and these images have garnered widespread admiration from fans. The sisters were also photographed performing aarti, a traditional Hindu ritual, adding to the authenticity of their cultural experience. The presence of a film crew indicated that these moments will likely feature in their show, "The Kardashians."
Jay Shetty, who accompanied the Kardashians, took to social media to praise Kim for her curiosity and desire to learn about Indian culture. “Thank you for your curiosity and desire to learn about the culture @kimkardashian @khloekardashian. So grateful to take you to this sacred place that means so much to me,” he wrote.
Kim Kardashian's fashion choices during her trip were also noteworthy. She chose a vibrant red Maison Alaia dress for her visit to the ISKCON temple. The sleeveless, full-length ensemble featured a halter-style high neckline, a fitted bodycon silhouette, a flared skirt, and a racerback design, accentuating her famous curves. This Shiny Flared Dress is available on the Maison Alaia website and is worth approximately ₹2,36,841 (2600 Euros). Kim complemented the dress with a bandhani dupatta designed by Manish Malhotra, who also dressed her for the Ambani wedding.
Earlier, Kim and Khloe had announced that their Mumbai trip would be featured in their TV show "The Kardashians." The sisters departed for the US on July 14, leaving behind a trail of memorable moments and positive impressions from their time in India.
