Hugh Jackman Reflects on Reunion with 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' Star Ke Huy Quan

Hugh Jackman recently opened up about his heartfelt reunion with Ke Huy Quan, 24 years after they first collaborated on the 2000 superhero film 'X-Men'. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Quan worked as an assistant fight choreographer on the movie, contributing significantly to its iconic action sequences.

'X-Men', directed by Bryan Singer and written by David Hayter, featured an ensemble cast including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Bruce Davison, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Ray Park, and Anna Paquin. The film depicted a world where mutants with extraordinary abilities faced distrust and fear from ordinary humans.

Jackman recently posted a photo of himself and Quan at Kevin Feige's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony. Accompanying the image was a voiceover where Jackman reminisced about their reunion. "One of the things about the movie being released is so many moments are happening that are making me appreciate the 25 years that I've been playing Wolverine," he said, referring to his latest film, 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. "I saw Ke Huy Quan -- and of course, he won an Oscar recently, and his story is incredible, and his career is incredible -- and we saw each other, and we embraced because we worked together on 'X-Men'."

Jackman praised Quan's work on the stunt team of 'X-Men', acknowledging the significant impact it had on his own career. "That's really where I learned a lot, a lot about how to do action movies, and how to do stunts, and it was just really cool to see him again and to reconnect," he shared.

Quan also commemorated their reunion by posting a photo with Jackman on social media. In his caption, he expressed his excitement about seeing 'Deadpool and Wolverine', calling it "awesome". He continued, "Ran into Hugh Jackman recently. The last time I saw him was 24 years ago on the set of 'X-Men' when he first trained as Wolverine. He is just as nice as I remembered. Huge congratulations to @thehughjackman @vancityreynolds and the entire Deadpool team on a record opening. Bravo."

'Deadpool & Wolverine' is currently in theaters, offering fans another chance to see Jackman reprise his iconic role as Wolverine.
