BTS member Jungkook to not attend SUGA's military enlistment day; Here's why ?

Earlier the BTS management agency, BigHit announced SUGA's military enlistment news among the fans which has been scheduled on September 22, 2023. While the news quite excites the global fans for SUGA's another ladder worthy achievement, another news now flocks around as his BTS pal Jungkook might be missing the crucial day for SUGA. Yes, you heard it correct! As per the reports Jungkook might be in New York City for his performance at the Global Citizen event that is going to take place in New York.

The officials also announced that there will be no sending off ceremony for SUGA, while their fans were eager to get OT7 reunion which even took place during Jin and J Hope's military enlisting moments. But with the absence of two members already(Jin and J-Hope), the hopes looks quite skeptical as Jungkook will not be able to mark his presence due to his busy international schedules. 

At Global Citizen Event 2023

While talking about Jungkook's performance, the news was confirmed by the Global Citizen Event 2023 on their official website. Meanwhile Jungkook will be the first ever South Korean idol to be singing solo on the global event. While announcing the news, it stated, "At the 2023 Global Citizen Festival, Jungkook will perform solo on the Great Lawn of Central Park! He is joining the Global Citizen to call for action to help and extreme poverty." 

SUGA's military enlistment

On the other hand, BigHit on Sunday has oozed the news of SUGA's Korean military enlistment through a statement that read, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Thank you for your continued support for BTS. We have further information regarding SUGA’s military service. SUGA will be beginning his required service on September 22. There will not be any official events on the day he starts his service or the day he enters the training camp. We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting SUGA at his workplace during the period of his service. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only." Furthermore, referring to more measures to be mindful of, the BIGHIT wrote, "Furthermore, please be mindful to avoid getting adversely affected by unauthorized tours or package products that illegally use the artist’s intellectual property. Our company will take appropriate measures against attempts at any commercial activity that make unauthorized use of the artist's IP. We ask for your continued love and support for SUGA until he completes his service and returns. Our company will also strive to provide all the support he needs during this time. Thank you."
