'Barbie' movie gets banned in Pakistan for LGBTQ leaning content; Details inside

The global cinema strikes down to a halt as a big breaking from the land of Pakistan stumbles people worldwide. While year's one of the most anticipated movie, 'Barbie' received a theatrical release on July 21, 2023, Pakistan seem to stem a trouble. Yes, you heard it correct! Pakistan's Islamabad has taken off the film from theatres temporarily in consideration for the innate inclusion of LGBTQ themes and messages.

The Temporary banned! 

While in contrary, the movie is grasping interests of the masses with it's raging moment, few extremists members of the Pakistan's Punjab Censor Board has temporarily banned the movie as 'objectional content'. According to the demand, the film will be give the global cinema strikes down to a halt as a big breaking from the land of Pakistan stumbles people worldwide. Other countries

As Islamism do not accepts LGBTQ content with enthusiasm, Pakistan is not the only place that has banned the movie. Other Muslim nations such as UAE, Qatar, Iran, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are some of the other nations that has taken a similar step. Well, this is not the first time, any Hollywood movie has been banned in these nations but there is a long list of history if we look backwards. While, in few counties, the movie was banned for it's 'objectional content', the reason is not similar in other counties. Counties like Russia has temporarily closed the movie from theatres from promoting a consumerist attitude towards infants. 

About Barbie 

The world of Barbie comes alive as Warner Bros new ensemble 'Barbie' wsa released on July 21, 2023. Directed by Greta Gerwig, the movie features a whole bunch of casts and characters  leading the fantasy toy world story. The movie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling on the leading roles along-with numerous others which includes Dua Lipa, Emma Mackey, Will Farrel, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Hari Nef and many others to be counted. With an immaculate and collaboration, the movie is doing exquisitely well both critically and commercially. en an another chance to come back only if the so called 'objectional content' is removed. As per reports confirmed, this whole process might dig in some time as the movie is under review and the authorities will re-release the reviewed movie on a later announced date.
