HERE'S WHY GURDAS MANN STARRER 'NANKANA' IS GOING TO BE A SPECIAL FILM

Year 1947 and the bloodbath that followed has innumerable heart-breaking stories. Gurdas Maan’s upcoming Punjabi film ‘Nankana’ is the story of one such family and their struggle to survive amidst the riots that followed during partition.

Another reason why ‘Nankana’ is special is because this film is being directed by Gurdas Maan’s wife Manjeet Maan. Kavita Kaushik who made her Pollywood debut with ‘Vekh Barataan Challiyan’ that starred Binnu Dhillon will be seen playing an important role in this film.

Recently, Kavita Kaushik shared a picture of the mahurat shot of ‘Nankana’ along with Gurdas Maan and Pooja Gujral on her instagram profile. The actress seems really ecstatic about this film as she wrote, “So lucky to be part of this story, this journey and this wonderful team, Nankaana.”
