'Batch 2013': Hardeep Grewal takes a dig at trolls comparing his transformation with 'Aamir Khan'

Hardeep Grewal breaks silence on being trolled: Punjabi singer-turned-actor Hardeep Grewal is all set for the release of his film 'Batch 2013'. The singer who is known for his inspiring songs is now creating a buzz with his motivational films.

After the release of his 'Tunka Tunka', which included a lot of dedication and hard work by Hardeep Grewal, is once again set to deliver something unique but with the same spirit as his film 'Batch 2013'.

Ever since the release of the film's teaser, the film has been receiving mixed reactions. While some hailed the actor for his pure dedication, there were some who mocked him and compared him to Aamir Khan in 'Dangal'.

Now, Hardeep Grewal is voicing his thoughts about the same and shared a brief note on his social media account.

He wrote that he was criticized for replicating Aamir Khan. However, he said gaining or losing weight will not make him 'Aamir Khan'. He further said that he neither wants to be 'Aamir Khan' but wants to work hard and create something unique for the movie buffs.

Hardeep Grewal further talked about his challenges and journey in his film 'Tunka Tunka'.

In addition to this, Hardeep also mentioned the ongoing acceptance of South films and requested everyone just like South films is being welcomed by everyone, films of their own people should also be respected.

Talking about the film, 'Batch 2013', the makers have already generated buzz with the release of the film's intriguing teaser. Apart from Hardeep Grewal, the movie features Hashneen Chauhan, Neeta Mohindra, Harinder Bhullar, Preet Bhullar, and several others.

Directed by Garry Khatrao, the film will be released on September 9.
