Zeenat Aman reminisces moments with Dev Anand on his 100 years; Shares a throwback picture with a heartwarming note
Dev Anand is easily considered as one of the most enriched superstar of the old Bollywood era. The man who have ruled the iconic ages of 40's till the 70's has given more than 100 blockbuster Bollywood classics to the early filmy fanatics. His more than century movies have lasted for a whopping six decades and still continuing. On Tuesday, 26 September, the starry star would have completed his 100 years of fame if breathed but unfortunately, the late star has lived his last days in 2011 and gone to the forever land of heavenly bodies.

On his 100 years of mark, the entire nation is remembering Dev Anand's legacy and his contribution in escalating the Bollywood industry. From the industry's who's who to his die hard fans, everybody is leaving a remembrance to the iconic star. The long list of fans also includes classic actress Zeenat Aman who added Anand's grace on Tuesday afternoon. Zeenat while taking over her Instagram she shared a throwback picture from a movie co-acted alongside Mr. Anand. While sharing the beautiful picture she reminisced and started off quoting "Celebrating 100 years of Dev saab".
The heartwarming note
Zeenat's shared picture was a set of carousal post where she wrote a heartwarming note by remembering the living days of the icon. She ravished Dev's aura as a perfectionist and a true influencer, hence quoted "Stylish, suave and prolific, he was a dynamo beyond compare. And what generosity of talent! He sparked careers (mine included), brought together creative heads, and made films that resonated across generations." While continuing her caption, "It gladdens my heart to see his legacy honored an entire century since his birth. In recent days, I’ve been overwhelmed with requests for comments about him but there is little to add to what I’ve already said. Though, I posted a three-part series about him just a few weeks ago, I can’t resist the nostalgia of these two frames from our earliest films together. They will be instantly recognizable to my older followers, but I’m not so sure about you younger lot!" she further quoted.
The classic fame has given blood, sweat and tears for the realm of cinemas and his work surely transcended timeless contribution. From 'Hum Ek Hain' to 'Tere Ghar ke Samne' and from banarasi Babu' to 'Amir Garib', his filmy ladder was surely an intricate piece of dedicated masterpiece.
