Zeenat Aman recalls her first day at set by sharing her throwback picture from the 80's; Says 'was taken aback'
Zeenat Aman is one of the most prolific actresses of her time who ruled the classic era of Bollywood like a reigning queen. Her accessing career throughout the 80's and 90's is truly unfathomable and no actress could do a match to her enriched skillful of talent. Meanwhile, the veteran actress came on her socials not very long ago and began her Instagram to stay connected with her die hard fanatics. On the platform, she is often seen sharing some most unforgettable memories from the past and even highlights important issues of the present.
The Throwback
On Tuesday, The actress has taken over her IG handle to take her fans back to the time when she visited the sets for the first time. By sharing a black and white monochromatic picture, she recalled how her first experience on a film set felt like, precisely during the 70's. As per Zeenat, it wasn't how she felt while entering into a glamorous looking world, it was all rugged and inexplicable. She was surprised how chaotic and unsophisticated the set felt.

While sharing the picture, she started off while writing, "Poofy hair, an exaggerated collar, and a whole lot of sparkles. This picture just has to be from the 80s. It was one of those test shoots one does for fun, and that snazzy jacket was my prized possession at the time." Rewinding through the evergreen era, she wrote, "Let me rewind a little further and share an anecdote. The very first day that I walked onto a set in 1970, I looked around and was taken aback by how dull it all was. Wires snaked across the floor, heavy camera machinery was propped up on rusty trolleys, men ran hither and thither shouting instructions and ferrying supplies. It was nothing like I had imagined." The statement surely paved us a way through the lost time hood where the glitzy industry wasn't glitzy at all, but raw and yet unsophisticatedly classic.
She further shared her feeling of surprise and continued, "But where’s the glamour?” I exclaimed. OP Ralhan, my director, just smirked and drawled, "Babusha, YOU are the glamour".
Zeenat Aman's career
Previously while starting off her glamorous journey, she shone in bright colors in the greatest pageantries such as Femina Miss India 1970 accessing it's second place following Miss Asia Pacific International and winning it. Later in the 1970's she made her first Bollywood debut through the 1970 movie 'The Evil Within' along side actor Dev Anand which turned out to be an unsuccessful creation commercially. Meanwhile, her prolific breakthrough in the industry came in the light through the movie 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' opposite to Dev Anand.
