Uorfi Javed, Sona Mohapatra reacts to Sonali Kulkarni's statement 'In India women are lazy'

But in the era of social media, every action is followed by a reaction. Actress Sonali Kulkarni recently talked extensively about feminism at an event.

She also referred to women as "lazy" for not assisting males with household tasks and yearning for a stable career without working. Twitter's response to her message has been polarised ever since her video went viral. She is being praised for speaking the "truth" by many males, however. She has received criticism for calling "women lazy" from a bigger group of women, internet users, and celebrities.

Uorfi Javed offered his opinion, she said, "How insensitive, whatever you said ! You're calling modern-day women lazy when they are handling their work as well as household chores together? What's wrong in wanting a husband whose earning good ? Men for centuries only saw women as child vending machine and yes the main reason for marriage - dowry . Ladies don't be afraid to ask or demand . Yes you're right women should work but that's a privilege that not everyone gets . You're too entitled to see that may be."
