Shraddha Kapoor confesses her urge to play a role in Lata Mangeshkar's biopic; She says, "It's a very big aim, but you never know"

Actress Shraddha Kapoor is surely a limelight worthy actress, while it's her acting, humility or her personality, she surely owes respect and fame. The 36, year old actress made headlines recently with her dream of getting an opportunity to play in a biopic of iconic Lata Mangeshkar and her own masi(aunt), Padmini Kolhapure.

Her dream biopic

Recently, the actress has attended a press conference where she answered a long catalogued questionnaire from her fans. While inquired about her urge to play a biopic of one of the nation's icon, who would it be, another fan screamed Padmini Kolhapure - her maternal aunt to which she reverted, "Best answer! Best answer! I think ye bohot he accha suggestion hain. Padmini Kolhapure meri masi jo hain." she exclaimed the audience further and added, "I would also wish to say Lata Mangeshkar. I mean, It's a very big aim, but you never know. So it's my masi and Lata Mangeshkar ji."  

A true Bollywood icon

One of the finest actresses in B-town, Shraddha Kapoor has made her Bollywood debut back in 2010 through 'Teen Patti' alongside Big-B Amitabh Bachchan. Although, it was in 2013's 'Ashique 2' what gave her immaculate popularity. Through, the iconic romantic drama she had surely made a place of her belonging in the world of Hindi cinema. Since then, her popularity knew no limits, she excelled every role and film with grace and confidence, proving her formidable prowess of acting.

Workfront

Talking about her work-front, the actress  was last seen in 'Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar' along-with Ranbir Kapoor helmed by Luv Ranjan. The actress is now all geared up for her upcoming project, 'Stree 2' - sequel of 2018 movie Stree opposite to Rajkumar Rao.
