Samantha Ruth Prabhu finally wraps up Citadel India shoot; Announces on Instagram story, calls it 'Special Day'

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu announces her wrap up news of Citadel India on her Instagram through her stories on Wednesday. The actress has taken her Instagram handle to spread her happiness of shooting as big project as Citadel and finishing it's filming. Directed by Raj & DK of The Family man fame, the show is a Indian version of Priyanka Chopra's spy thriller Citadel which will feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu along-with actor Varun Dhawan, interestingly the two of the actor's first big screen collaboration.

While sharing her happiness on Instagram story, she called 13 July, 2023 as a special day. The actress shared a flawless selfie from her car. while in her signature black glasses she captured in smile and wrote, "13th of July, Will always be a special special day...And it's a wrap on #CitadelIndia." The wrap up news is quite fascinating for the fans as it will be interesting to see the Indian take on such a superhit spy-thriller starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.

Her Industry break! 

On the unversed, according to surfacing rumors, Samantha will be taking year long break and won't be accepting any offers from the movie industry, Telegu and Bollywood. As the actress is currently diagnosed with autoimmune disease and she needs a break from the hectic work schedule to focus on the well-being of her health. One of the source once revealed, she will be heading off to United States in August, 2023 for a year-long gap as her disease require extensive treatments and therapy sessions. For the health concerns, the actress also might travel to South Korea. 

Besides Citadel India, The actress also has the film 'Khushi' alongside actor Vijay Deverakonda which is slatted to release in September 1, 2023.
