Sam Bahadur fame Vicky Kaushal travels through his memory lane as he recalls his struggle days; Says "I used to knock on doors"

As Bollywood's acing actor Vicky Kaushal gears up for his upcoming movie release, he is taking over places and media powerhouses delving in conversations and it's glittery promotion. Sam Bahadur is his most anticipated movie so far as an actor, reveals by the star himself. Just ahead of it's release, the starry star sat on an exclusive interview with a media agency where he dug around his personal and professional front, among many other topics. See what the 'Masaan' actor have to say while asked whether he regrets about anything in particular throughout his journey. 

The Bollywood underdog who raised into fame like a wildfire

Vicky has undoubtedly became a big name in the industry like a wildfire. The Bollywood underdog who has earlier paved within the industry with utter hurdles use to get few minor roles in whopping movies. But it was after the release of 2015 romantic drama 'Masaan', Vicky has made his major statement in the world of lights, camera and action. Starring alongside Richa Chadha, the respective film has indeed accoladed immense fame in no time. But the struggle was never easy for the 'Now Star'. Recently during an exclusive interview, Mr. Kaushal was seen answering about some oozing question, indeed unabashedly.

Vicky Kaushal speaks about having 'Regrets' 

While asked about any of his regrets throughout his struggle journey, Vicky denies having any as he wouldn't have reached to the current fame if he had any regrets from the past. "Firstly, half of this journey, I have been craving for opportunities. So, I can’t regret for the opportunities that I got. In the days when I used to step out for auditioning, I used to knock on doors," said by the star making his first statement to the question. While recalling his audition days, he further adds, "Ads k auditions, short films k auditions, hazaaro auditions diye honge jisme se baad me 10-15 me select hue ho. Top 2-3 ho gaya, par vo select nhi ho pae toh uske baad jab mauka milta hai toh you can’t regret that." 

Making the statement on having any regret, he clears the fact that with regret you don't learn anything. As per Vicky, it is the lessons we should acquire with experiences, no matter failed or successful. Stating further he said, "But, in any case, even if that has not worked, it always teaches you something. But I’ve always enjoyed the people I have worked with, I have enjoyed the films I’ve gotten to be a part of and the characters I have played."

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is now all set to bring his upcoming movie 'Sam Bahadar', an biographical drama directed by Bollywood's one of the finest director, Meghna Gulzar. In the movie, Kaushal would be seen playing  the role of Sam Manekshaw, India's first filed marshal. The movie will also feature actress Sana Malhotra playing opposite to Vicky. Sam Bahadur is a film close to every stakeholder's heart and the team is committed to bringing it to the big screen on December 1, 2023.
