Rumoured Couple Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina Shine as Showstoppers for Designer Gaurav Gupta
Khushi Kapoor and her rumoured boyfriend, Vedang Raina, captivated audiences as the showstoppers for Designer Gaurav Gupta at India Couture Week 2024. The duo’s palpable chemistry added a romantic flair to the event, with their smiles and intimate glances making their ramp walk unforgettable. Vedang's attentiveness was evident as he held Khushi close, never taking his eyes off her.
Khushi dazzled in a glittering silver lehenga, paired with a bead-embellished blouse featuring flowing cape-style sleeves. The high-waisted, fit-and-flare lehenga was adorned with geometric patterns and swirling stones. Her look was completed with a multi-layered choker necklace, voluminous waves, and neutral-toned makeup. Vedang matched her elegance in a sophisticated sherwani with a high neckline and long sleeves, adorned with shimmering black beadwork, paired with black trousers and brogues.
Gaurav Gupta’s ‘Arunodaya’ collection, meaning ‘dawn’ in Sanskrit, symbolizes hope and new beginnings. This theme was fittingly showcased at India Couture Week 2024, which began on July 24 and will conclude with a presentation by Falguni Shane Peacock on July 31.
Khushi and Vedang made their debut together as Betty Cooper and Reggie Mantle, respectively, in Zoya Akhtar’s Indian adaptation of Archie Comics, "The Archies," which premiered on Netflix India last December. The film also starred Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and Dot, among others, and was produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Tiger Baby Films. Khushi Kapoor is set to appear in a film opposite Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan, while Vedang Raina will star as Alia Bhatt’s brother in Vasan Bala’s escape thriller "Jigra."
Fans have been buzzing about the couple’s chemistry, with comments like, “She looks like a younger version of Shweta Bachchan,” and, “Khushi needs to learn some expressions.” The pair was also seen spending time together and dancing at the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant earlier this month, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
