"He would abuse a lot," Nana recalled, describing Rishi's habit of using strong language during their filming days. When probed if Rishi surpassed him in this regard, Nana's response was a spirited affirmation. "Arey! He would get annoyed a lot," he chuckled, painting a picture of Rishi's fiery temperament and his steadfast approach to acting.

Reflecting on their working relationship, Nana Patekar unveiled a layered dynamic of mutual respect and occasional friction. Despite their differences, which sometimes flared during multiple takes, Nana emphasized their enduring camaraderie beyond the camera lens. "We spoke a lot after he went for his treatment," he shared, hinting at the depth of their connection that transcended professional disagreements.

Nana recounted a moment when he urged Rishi Kapoor to redo a scene, prompting a spirited response from the seasoned actor. "Who is the director here? Shafi or you? Hatao yaar isko," Rishi retorted, capturing the essence of their spirited banter.
