Bhaiyya Ji fame, Manoj Bajpayee catalogs his favorite films: RRR, Animal and Kantara in the list

Actor Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most accomplished stars of the current film industry as his unconventional roles and characters are capable of leaving an impeccable mark on the viewers. The Family Man fame is currently basking high on his upcoming film Bhaiyaa Ji, making buzz around the entertainment realm while promoting the same. Meanwhile, Bhaiyaa Ji is now all set to release theatrically on 24th May 2024. Well, recently during a promotional event, the lead actor could be seen listing out his favorite films of Bollywood and quipped upon modern cults like RRR, Animal, and Kantara. 

Manoj Bajpayee talks about his favorite movies 

During a recent interview, when The Family Man actor was asked about his recent favorite movies of Indian cinema, he revealed some enthralling names that all were globally appreciated. Manoj started off his response with, "Bahut sari acchi lagi hain mujhe." His Top movies kicked off with the 2022 Kannada language action-thriller, Kantara. Speaking about the Rishab Shetty directorial, he said, "Mujhe Kantara bahut acchi lagi. Kantara mujhe uss karan se bhi acchi lagi ki wahan ke ritual, wahan ka jo faith, aur waha se jo hai ek badiya mainstream film banayi. Kantara mere liye reference point hai." His list later followed, SS Rajamouli's Oscar-Winning film, RRR as he said, "Mujhe RRR bhi acchi lagi thi mainstream films mein."

Then, speaking about mainstream Bollywood, he listed out Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal and recently released Article 370. While praising both the films, "Idhar jo film dekhi maine, jaise Article 370 dekhi maine ya fir Animal dekhi. Acchi films hai, matlab entertaining hain," he quipped. Moving on ahead, he stated the importance of a script's originality. "Original toh aapko rakhna padega, kahaani aapki original honi hi padegi. Kuch nayi kahani aapko kehni padegi," his statement content. 

Meanwhile, directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, Manoj Bajpayee's upcoming action drama 'Bhaiyya Ji' is all set to release theatrically on 24th May 2024.
