Akshay Kumar recollects his struggle days; Puts light while he was living in Mumbai in a Rs. 100 rental house!
Akshay Kumar is one of the most prominent actor of the Bollywood industry. The man who has entered during the cult classic age is still continuing serving some ipeccable masterpieces year after year. But Kumar did not have the luxury of having a filmy background or someone to call a godfather to enter in the glitzy world of glamour. Whoever he is today, he stood on his own and paved the mesmerizing pathway of success to fame and glory. During a recent interview Akshay could be seen sharing his struggle story and remembered the days when his life encircled around a space of Rs. 100 as a rent.

Akshay recalls staying a small house in Mumbai of Rs. 100 as rent!
This was during the time when his family shifted from Delhi to Mumbai and has lived in a small rental space worth rupees few penny. During the whole conversation, the Khiladi star recalled the whole journey from Delhi to Mumbai. While referring to his Delhi home, he quoted, "We were 24 people living in the same house in Chandni Chowk. We all would sleep in the same room. In the morning, when we woke up for exercise, everyone would jump over each other to get out". After Delhi, he and his family soon made their to Mumbai where they took a small rental space at Sion Koliwada region and paid Rs. 100 as a rent. But coming from a humble background, he always smiled through pain. "I swear to God, there wasn’t a single day where we did not smile or laugh. Now, that we have money, sometimes we feel a bit sad but at that time, there was nothing to be sad about, We would have dal chawal, jeera aloo, aloo gobhi, bhindi, we would eat all of this and we were happy," Akshay Added.
The household struggle
The OMG 2 fame also recalled a memory from his childhood when he had to repeat 7th standard and his father asked him angrily, 'Tu banna kya chahta hain?'(What do you want to become?) to which he replied 'Hero Banna Chahta Hoon' (I want to be a hero) but deep he also wanted to become a martial arts teacher. Even as one of the most successful actor of the recent time, Akshay Kumar has seen his equal share of struggles from a simple life to the chaotic ques of auditioning to get into the world of cinema.

Speaking about his work front, this year the actor has served some great performances in the movies like 'Selfiee' and 'OMG 2' and now basking the success of recently released thriller drama 'Mission Raniganj'. The star will be next seen in the movies like Bade Miya Chote Miya alongside Tiger Shroff, Welcome to the Jungle(third installment of the Welcome franchise), Hera Pheri 3 and Sky Force.
