Akshay Kumar Opens Up About Financial Fraud and Film Failures
Akshay Kumar's professional trajectory has encountered significant challenges in recent times. His recent films have largely underperformed, with only one notable success, OMG 2, since 2022. His latest release, Sarfira, currently screening in theaters, has failed to win over audiences. In recent interviews, Kumar has candidly addressed the setbacks of his recent projects and has also disclosed instances of financial dishonesty.
Instances of Financial Deception
In an appearance on the show Sarafiri Baten with Ghazal Alagh, Kumar was queried about his experiences with business-related deceit. Although he refrained from naming specific individuals, Kumar remarked, "This is something quite commonplace. I prefer not to dwell on it further. I simply choose to remain silent and move forward. I do not engage with those involved. Instances where payments from one or two producers are delayed are clear examples of cheating."
Response to Flop Films
Discussing his recent film failures, Kumar commented in a recent interview, "I learned to navigate these challenges early in my career. While it is disheartening, the outcome of a film is beyond one's control. I channel my focus entirely into my work and invest all my energy into it."
Upcoming Projects
Looking to the future, Kumar is set to appear in the film Khel Khel Mein, slated for release on August 15. Additionally, he will feature in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and has Sky Force as part of his upcoming projects.
