Actor Imran Khan walks down the memory lane; Drops BTS pictures from 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' ft. Katrina Kaif

Imran Khan is one of the most lovable actors of the rom-com Bollywood. Often recalled as the 'Sweet Boy' of the industry, rom 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na' to 'I Hate Luv Stories', Imran has given some of the most impeccable rom-coms during the 2000's Bollywood and ruled the hearts of million girls at a point. Although backed from Bollywood many years back, the star often reminisces his early days spent on the sets curating those rom-com masterpieces unabashedly on his Instagram handle.

MBKD throwback

Recently the favorite actor has taken over his Instagram handle on Thursday to share the glimpses of 'Mere Brother ki Dulhan' which also featured Katrin Kaif. To be more precise, 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' is a 2011 Hindi rom-com led by Katrina Kaif, Ali Zafar and Imran Khan himself. While taking his fans through his MBKD memory lane, he shared a series of pictures through a Instagram carousal post from him playing badminton to Katrina in an Anarkali avatar, he took it off with Bollywood nostalgia.

The Nostalgia Days 

While sharing the pictures on his Instagram he wrote, "Once upon a time, there was no Instagram… so people used an app called Hipstamatic to add retro effects to their photos!" Continuing the age of 'no Instagram' he quoted, "Here’s some retro pics from the sets of MBKD, along with a story; I remember working some wild double shifts for the song ‘Do Dhaari Talwaar’. It was shot over 4 consecutive night shifts, while I was also spending the day shifts shooting the music videos for ‘Nakkaddwaley Disco’ and ‘Switty’ from Delhi Belly at the same time! I would sleep in my car, while being driven between the two sets. Hectic, but totally worth it." 

Fans Reaction

Since, the unseen glances of MBKD made it to the gram, fans have taken it by storm and showered their heart out in the comments section. One of his fan wrote, "You don't have any idea like how much happiness you are giving to the people rn by posting all these pictures keep them coming we miss you! Comeback soon". While another user nodded, "these throwback pictures give me hope! We probably didn’t appreciate your talent enough Imran but we would love to see you back on the silver screen!" All in all, everyone were seen anticipating on Imran's return in the movies quoted 'laut Aao' in Hindi. 

Speaking about his work-front, Imran Khan was last seen in the movie 'Katti Batti' released in 2015 and reports suggests that he would re-uniting with the Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na' actor super soon for his OTT comeback. As per the reports, his collaboration with Abbas Tyrewala will bring an espionage thriller series on a leading OTT platform.
