Aamir Khan reveals his daughter Ira Khan's marriage date; Calls Ira's fiancé as a 'Lovely Boy'

Bollywood's acing actor, Aamir Khan is a proud father. Even after living a glamorous life of the lights, camera and action, he invests one part of his schedule with the family. The star's daughter Ira Khan is one of the most talked celebrity kid of the Bollywood realm. Speaking of her love life, Ira had been dating Nupur Shikhare for quite a long time now and they are soon going to get married, as revealed by Ira's father himself. As per the reports, they both started dating in 2020 and made their relationship public in 2021.

Both the love birds, Ira Khan and Nupur Sikhare were engaged in last year during November and the ceremony was no less than a star studded affair which was attended by glitzy attendees such as Imran Khan, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mansoor Khan and many others. Recently during an interview, Aamir Khan has talked about their marriage and revealed the date! Yes, you heard it correct! The rumors which earlier stated that Ira and Nupur are going to get married by the end of this year but now Ira's father has surely spilled the beans and extensively talked about the nuptial dates.

The Marriage Date

As per Aamir Khan, both of them are getting married during the onset of January 2024. Revealing the date, he stated "Ira is getting married on January 3. The boy she has chosen is — waise toh pet name unka naam Popeye hai (by the way, his pet name is Popeye the sailor man) — he is a trainer, he has arms like Popeye but his name is Nupur. He is a lovely boy". While talking about his going-to-be son in law, he revealed that Nupur has stood by Ira's side through every thick and thin and helped her getting through her phase of depression, and thus emotionally supported her numerous times.

While during the whole conversation about Ira's marriage, Aamir has also accepted his tenderness and unabashedly quoted "Main toh bada emotional hota hoon bhai, us din main bohot rone waala hu yeh toh tay hai." As per him, discussions have already begun in the family that "Aamir ko sambaalna uss din, because I am very emotional. I can’t control my smile nor my tears."
