Cancel IPL 2022 trends after Mitchell Marsh tests Covid-19 positive: For the past three years, everybody is stuck in a loop of Covid-19. The number of coronavirus cases in India has started rising again and the wearing of masks has been made compulsory yet again. While everything seemed to have been normalised, IPL 2022 resumed but this year the top two teams Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are at the bottom of the points table.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals' all-rounder Mitchell Marsh tested positive for Covid-19 which led to the delay of the franchise's travel to Pune for its next IPL 2022 match against Punjab Kings on Wednesday.

Soon after Mitchell Marsh tested positive for Covid-19 and in view of the rising cases of coronavirus in India, the netizens took to Twitter and started trending 'Cancel IPL 2022'.
Following the latest development, the entire Delhi Capitals team has been quarantined for the time being. The Capitals were slated to travel from Mumbai to Pune on Monday, ahead of their clash with Punjab Kings at the MCA Stadium on Wednesday.

Earlier, DC physio Patrick Farhart also tested positive and was sent to isolation. Following the Covid-19 scare in the IPL, 'cancel IPL 2022' started trending on Twitter.
However, the fans of currently bottom-placed teams - Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were very happy and were saying, 'itni khushi aaj tak nhi hui'.
