Brahmastra: Confirmed! Deepika Padukone to play Ranbir Kapoor's mother in Ayan Mukherji's film

Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra' has been ruling the box office charts ever since it was released in the theaters on September 9. The makers recently released the film on the OTT platform and guess what the online release spilled beans on who will be playing Ranbir Kapoor's mother in 'Brahmastra Part 2: Dev'.

Brahmastra: Part One Shiva, which was published on September 9 and debuted on Netflix on November 4, began its journey there on that date. After seeing Barhmastra Part I in theatres, some fans claimed to have seen Deepika in the movie.

Some people who saw it in 2D claimed the actress was completely invisible. But the OTT version dispelled any confusion. During one of the sequences, Deepika is visible holding baby Shiva in her arms. This scene occurs just after the interval in the movie.

Following their screening of the film on Hotstar, fans commented on social media to confirm that Deepika appears in the film. The following tweet was posted, "Today, I saw Brahmastra for the second time. I hadn't noticed Deepika Padukone before. But this time, it was so clear that she is there in the film! She has to be present in the second part too!"

Another user said, "Deepika Padukone in and as Amritha in Brahamastra eagerly awaiting Dev Part 2."

The first book of Ayan Mukerji's intended trilogy set in the Astraverse is titled "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva." Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni also appear in the movie. The plot of Brahmastra centers on Shiva, a DJ who discovers his unusual connection to the element of fire.
