Veteran actor Sameer Khakhar dies at 71, due to multiple organ failure

Sameer Khakhar death news: In shocking news, veteran actor Sameer Khakhar passed away due to multiple organ failures. The actor was best known for the TV show 'Nukkad'.  The death of the actor was confirmed by his brother Ganesh Khakhar. 

As per the reports, Sameer Khakhar took his last breath in MM Hospital, in Mumbai's Borivali. The actor's funeral would be held in Borivali.

After the shocking news of Sameer Khakhar, several celebrities expressed their grief and paid tribute to the actor. 

Director Hansal Mehta wrote, "For some reason I was nicknamed Khopdi in college after his iconic character in Nukkad. My closest friends from the time still call me Khopdi. But I guess it’s time to say goodbye to the OG. Goodbye Sameer Khakhar. Thank you for the memories."
