Rajkummar Rao is all to bring an inspirational story to the silver screens with his upcoming movie 'Srikanth' based on Industrialist Srikanth Bolla. Srikanth Bolla's journey from facing discrimination to becoming a beacon of inspiration is set to release on the silver screen in the upcoming movie 'Srikanth,' starring Rajkummar Rao, Jyotika, and Alaya.
The trailer begins with a boy expressing his desire to become the President of India despite being born visually impaired. Born visually impaired, Srikanth refused to let his disability define his future. Despite facing mockery and obstacles, he proved that determination and resilience can overcome any barrier. The trailer of the film unveils his inspiring story, showcasing how Srikanth navigated through life's challenges with unwavering determination.
Denied the opportunity to pursue science after excelling in his class 10 exams, Srikanth didn't give up. He fought against the odds, persuading the authorities to allow him to study science. His perseverance paid off when he topped his class 12 exams with flying colours, despite being denied admission to coaching institutes for the Indian Institute of Technology.
Undeterred by setbacks, Srikanth's journey took him to the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he became the first international blind student to study business management. His education abroad ignited a desire to create opportunities for disabled individuals back in his homeland.
In 2012, Srikanth founded Bollant Industries with a mission to empower differently-abled individuals. By 2016, the company had established five manufacturing units, providing employment opportunities to many. Srikanth's vision and dedication transformed his disadvantage into a platform for positive change, inspiring countless others along the way.
Directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, "Srikanth" promises to be a poignant portrayal of resilience and triumph.
