On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Shweta Singh Kirti, the sister of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a poignant message in his memory. Taking to Instagram, Shweta posted a video featuring Sushant, in which he expressed his desire not only to excel as an actor but also to strive to be a great human being. Alongside the video, Shweta wrote, "Happy Raksha Bandhan to my lovely brother, hope you always stay happy and protected in higher realms in the company of Gods," followed by a red heart emoji.

Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister Pens Emotional Note

Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise on June 14, 2020, left the nation in shock. He was found dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. This Raksha Bandhan marks another moment of reflection for Shweta and countless fans who continue to mourn his loss.

Earlier this year, on Sushant's fourth death anniversary in June, Shweta shared an emotional note on social media, reiterating her demand for justice as the investigation into his death remains ongoing under the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). In her message, she expressed her unwavering faith in the government and judicial system, stating, "I have a lot of hope. That is why we have gathered so that we can demand justice. I have full faith in our government and judicial system. And I have a feeling that we'll get to know what has happened. Honestly, and there are a lot of questions. He was fine till the 13th. However, he was a little scared."

She added, "I know everyone's prayer will come true. Definitely, one day we will get the answer to all the questions."

Sushant Singh Rajput was just 34 years old when he left this world. His career began on television with shows like 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil,' but it was his role in Ekta Kapoor's 'Pavitra Rishta' that catapulted him to fame. He later transitioned to films, delivering remarkable performances in movies such as 'Kai Po Che,' 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story,' 'Shuddh Desi Romance,' 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!,' 'Chhichhore,' and 'Dil Bechara,' among others.

Sushant's portrayal of the former Indian cricket captain in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' remains one of his most celebrated performances. His final film, 'Dil Bechara,' directed by Mukesh Chhabra and co-starring Sanjana Sanghi, was an adaptation of the novel 'The Fault in Our Stars' and was released on an OTT platform.
