Shah Rukh Khan spends 150 days in Chennai for shooting Jawan; Fans are eternally grateful as he Prospers 3000 families in Tamil Nadu

After long awaited months of Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie, 'Jawan', makers are finally going to launch it's trailer later today. With such an excitement of SRK led magnum opus, the feast of the trailer would be full of grandeur. Ahead of it's trailer launch, the star flew down to the Tamil Nadu capital Chennai to attend a star studded launch event of Jawan and delved himself in an fun interaction with his South Indian fanatics.

The Chennai event

Held in Sri Sairam Engineering College, the event saw numerous moments of revelations made by the makers as well as Shah Rukh Khan himself. The Art Director Muthuraj revealed how the global icon left the ease and comfort of Mumbai and shifted all the way here in the South for 150 days of lethargic shoot and Jawan schedule, which also made SRK help multiple families during this whole time. At the event, he said, "3000 families in Chennai, in Tamil Nadu have prospered because of you and for your willingness to come here from Mumbai and shoot Chennai, for that we are eternally grateful". 

Fans Reaction

The venue filled with SRK fans took over the statement with hoots and cheers and continued 'eternally grateful'. On social media platform, X (formerly Twitter) a SRK fan club has taken over to share the video clip and wrote, "Nearly 150 days long shooting schedule of Jawan in Chennai which has benefited 3000 families, @iamsrk we love you three thousand for that KING". While others have reacted in utter happiness and expressed their gratitude for the star. One user called him 'Living legend' while another wrote, "What a man he is...A true inspiration for billions".

The event did not took long to bring SRK into the limelight who took over and said, "I'm humbled, Thank You so much for inviting me. I enjoy Tamil films. I realized early on that the best films are made in Tamil." He was also seen expressing his love for Tamil cuisine, "Eating here in Tamil Nadu was fantastic. I lost my six packs and gained them back. I found a wonderful variety of dishes in Tamil Nadu," he continued his speech.

Followed by SRK, Atlee, Jawan director took over the crowd to express his words and continued while stating, "I was in Mumbai working with filmmaker Shankar on Enthiran. My Pal informed me that we were shooting outside SRK's residence. He requested me to take a picture in front of the gate. After 13 years, the same gate opened, and King Khan himself said, 'Welcome, Atlee Sir'. So it is true. Good things will happen in your life". In the presence of many, the Chennai event lacked Jawan's female lead, Nayanthara on which Atlee said, "Nayanthara was unable to attend today due to Onam. She remains in Kerala". Film producer Gokulam Gopalan gave another powerful speech regarding Tamil cinema entering the main stream television and how it will soon be entering in Hollywood. He called Jawan almost to be a 'box office smash'. 

Meanwhile, the fans are eagerly waiting for it's trailer that is slatted to launch later today and the film has geared up it's roots to hit the theatres on September 7, 2023.
