Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are gearing up to captivate audiences in Anurag Basu's much-anticipated film, Metro In Dino. The duo recently gave fans a sneak peek behind the scenes by sharing some playful, goofy pictures on social media.
On Friday, Sara took to Instagram to post a series of photos featuring herself, Aditya Roy Kapur, and the film's director, Anurag Basu. The trio, known for their charming personalities, posed for a fun selfie, making silly faces and goofy expressions. Sara added a witty caption to the post, writing, "Metro In Dino. Madness mein hum Teeno."
The post quickly garnered attention, with fans flooding the comment section with excitement. One enthusiastic follower wrote, "Can't wait," while another exclaimed, "Omggg Sara and Aditya together. Absolutely cuteness." A third fan expressed their anticipation, saying, "This one is gonna be GREAT."
Metro In Dino is an anthology film directed by Anurag Basu, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma. This project marks the second collaboration between Aditya Roy Kapur and Anurag Basu, who previously worked together on the hit film Ludo.
The title Metro In Dino appears to be inspired by the popular song "In Dino" from Basu's earlier film Life in a... Metro. The film is expected to depict bittersweet stories of human relationships set against the backdrop of contemporary life.
Anurag Basu has shared his excitement about the film, saying, "Metro In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people! It has been a while since I have been working on this one, and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again, who has always been like a pillar to me!" He added, "The storyline is very fresh and relevant, and I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring that essence of contemporary aura with them. As music plays a very important role in any film, I couldn't be happier to be collaborating with my dear friend Pritam, who has literally added life to the characters and story with his work."
Anurag Basu is known for his distinctive filmmaking style, with acclaimed films like Barfi, Life In a Metro, Ludo, and Jagga Jasoos under his belt.
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan is also set to share the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time in an upcoming action-comedy. The film will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment, marking their third theatrical collaboration.
