Rakul Preet, Jackky Bhagnani Opt for Last-minute changes for wedding
Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani, the much-loved Bollywood couple, are all set to tie the knot in a joyous celebration after almost three years of confirming their relationship. Initially planning a destination wedding overseas, the couple made a last-minute decision to change the venue to Goa in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for influential families to host grand events within the country.
The wedding is scheduled to be a two-day affair, concluding on February 21 in the picturesque setting of Goa. The couple had initially planned for their special day to take place in the Middle East. After six months of meticulous planning, they decided to relocate the celebration to India, aligning with the Prime Minister's call for significant events to be held in the country.
According to a source close to the couple, the decision to change the venue was made in mid-December. Despite the challenges of resetting the entire plan, including the destination and accommodations, Rakul and Jackky embraced the change out of their love for the nation and a desire to contribute to its growing economy.
This decision reflects the couple's sense of responsibility as citizens, supporting the national sentiment and actively participating in the collective effort to host events within India. By celebrating their love in their homeland, Rakul and Jackky are marking a significant personal milestone and fulfilling their duty towards the nation.
On the professional front, Jackky Bhagnani is currently working as a producer for the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Meanwhile, Rakul Preet has a busy schedule with projects in various languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and multilingual films like Indian 2 and Ayalaan.
