National Film Awards 2023; From Best Actor to Supporting Role, Here's the list of all the major winners from 69th award
One of the most awaited night of the filmy world has finally come to an end with the grandeur of the National Film Awards 2023 that took place on Thursday, 24 August 2023. The coveted filmy celebration saw some of the most extraordinary winners from varying genres and corners of the Indian cinematic landmass. Films like Gangubai Kathiwadi, RRR, Sardar Udham, Pushpa and Mimi has rose some major prizes of the night.
The Biggest Awards of the Night
The 69th National Film Awards was a wholesome experience that bought under light some of the most deserving creations of the award extravaganza. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' bagged five awards, giving Alia a breakthrough the Best Actor(Female) along with Kriti Sanon for 'Mimi'. The two National Film Award winners was surely a moment to behold and sink in the extraordinary victory. Meanwhile Allu Arjun bagged Best Actor(Male) for the movie 'Pushpa'. The Oscar winner movie RRR won numerous awards under technical sections along with the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Gangubai eventually won other four prestigious award that included Best Screenplay writer (Adapted), Best Dialogue Writer, Best Editor and and Best Make-up artist.
Other Winners
Other major winners of the night included Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Kashmir Files' which bagged Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. 'Shershaah' movie on the other hand made it through the Special Jury Award including Biopic drama, 'Sardar Udham' as the Best Hindi Film. Another big win for the film Mimi has to be it's Best Actor for supporting role won by iconic Pankaj Tripathi. 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', starring R Madhavan won the award for The Best Feature Film.
