Janhvi Kapoor turns showstopper for Gaurav Gupta ICW 2023 show; Actress radiates elegance in a electric blue lehenga

As India Couture Week 2023 is radiating glamour of the Indian Designers at full pace, the third day of the event extravaganza looked no less than heavenly. As India's biggest fashion week gave a kickstart on July 26, 2023 we have all been sitting at our edges to see what the curtains have been hiding this time to offer! On it's third day, after Varun Bahl's mesmerizing bridal couture show, ace designer Gaurav Gupta took over the stage to showcase his exquisite yet magnificent couture collection 'Hiranyagarbha'

Gaurav Gupta needs no introduction when it comes to his marvelous couture ensembles as he has grabbed global platforms with his acing artistic caliber. On Thursday, July 27, 2023, he has served one of his best collection 'Hiranyagarbha'. No doubt his designs looked absolutely breathtaking on the models but what has grabbed the attention of the attendees was the moment when an electric blue ensemble walked down the ramp worn by none other than the 'Bawaal' actress Janhvi Kapoor.

Actress Janhvi Kapoor took over the stage as Gaurav Gupta's showstopper radiating luxe worthy elegance in an electric blue lehenga. Her look was all about power channeling grace in a mind boggling color. The lehenga featured a bralette top with Gaurav's infinite signature sequin work with thin straps and a plunging neckline. The top also had a similar floor-sweeping cape attached to it that gave a queen worthy appearance to the actress. Talking about her skirt, the free flowy lehenga skirt was full of glitter and glamour leaving zero space for 'no-drama'. Janhvi opted a jewelry free look with minimal make-up and wet side parted hairs cascading beautifully on her shoulders. 

About 'Hiranyagarbha'

In his new collection, Gaurav Gupta wanted to showcase the journey from birth till harmony while embracing the stark light within. The official synopsis of the 'Hiranyagarbha' quotes, "It emerges from the pristine nothingness, where all possibilities of metamorphosis reside. Floating through the cosmic cycle of elements, it symbolizes the creation and absorption back into the supreme reality, the Brahman. The starkness of the first light is imagined with absolute whites and lustrous, iridescent pearls, reminiscent of a blank canvas eager to begin. Life bursts forth with unstoppable fluorescence."
