Recently, the film's trailer was unveiled, revealing a surprise cameo appearance by Ananya Panday, who was spotted dancing alongside Ranveer Singh in a vibrant dance number. With Karan Johar confirming the presence of three special appearances in the film, Ananya Panday took to social media to officially confirm her role and extend birthday wishes to co-star Ranveer Singh.

Panday's Confirmation and Birthday Greetings

On the occasion of Ranveer Singh's 38th birthday, Ananya Panday shared her excitement and confirmed her cameo appearance in "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" through an Instagram story. She posted a behind-the-scenes picture from the song shoot, featuring herself, Ranveer Singh, and Karan Johar. While the outfit details are not clearly visible in the image, fans can catch a glimpse of Ananya in a fringed red outfit similar to the one showcased in the trailer. Ranveer is also seen wearing the same flamboyant jacket worn in the song sequence. Ananya Panday accompanied the picture with a heartfelt message, "Happy Birthday Ran Ran aka Rocky ❤️ Wish you the best best always," expressing her warm wishes for Ranveer Singh's special day.

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' Karan Johar's Confirmation and SRK's Blessings

During a recent Instagram live session, Karan Johar interacted with fans and addressed their queries about "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani." When asked about Shah Rukh Khan's involvement in the film, Johar clarified that SRK does not have a role in the movie. However, he emphasized that Shah Rukh Khan's blessings are with the team, implying his support and good wishes for the project.

Cast and Release Date

Apart from the lead pair of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" boasts an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 28, 2023.
