'International Children’s Book Day: Kareena Kapoor Khan turns storyteller for underprivileged children

'International Children's Book Day': Kareena Kapoor Khan, a Bollywood actress, and UNICEF India Celebrity Advocate, visited Mitha Nagar Municipal School in Goregaon (West), Mumbai, today to encourage basic fundamental learning (in the younger elementary) and enhance the #EveryChildReading Movement in the nation, which is scheduled to be officially launched in April 2023.

Kareena Kapoor Khan showed a genuine interest in knowing how kids dealt with school during and after the pandemic in her interactions with instructors and first-grade students. She emphasised the value of early literacy instruction, the need to provide learning opportunities in the children's native tongue, and the need of teaching children to read, write, and count.

In the meantime, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently shared a video as she reads fascinating stories for underprivileged kids in Mumbai. She also told a story to spark the kids' imaginations. 

"I met with young kids earlier and was incredibly impressed by their passion for reading and learning. As a mother, I am aware of the inspirational and motivating power of reading and storytelling, especially if it is done in a manner that the children can easily understand, Kareena Kapoor Khan remarked.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, actor Arjun Kapoor posted a photo with Kareena Kapoor Khan to commemorate the occasion that their movie "Ki & Ka" had been in the Hindi film industry for seven years.

On Twitter, Arjun posted a photo of him and Kareena celebrating Amrita Arora's birthday. The two actors can be seen posing for the camera while wearing all black in the picture.

Future projects for Kareena Kapoor Khan include "The Crew," "The Devotion of Suspect X," and "The Birmingham Murders."
