'Guardians of the Galaxy': Salman Khan becomes part of the famous Marvel Universe? Details inside
Salman Khan, with an immense following, appears to hold a strong affinity towards the character of Groot from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the upcoming release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, Marvel India shared a comical video on social media featuring Salman Khan imitating Groot.
The amusing video, shared on Instagram by Marvel India, showcases Salman Khan in the initial scene, sitting inside his Vanity van and watching Groot on his phone before heading to a press conference. The video proceeds to depict the actor responding to questions from the media while humorously mimicking the character of Groot.
The Instagram video depicts Groot fan Salman watching a video of the well-known MCU character on his phone before a press conference. Salman makes the decision to respond to every question at the press conference with "I am Salman," taking a cue from Groot, who typically answers inquiries in the film series with "I am Groot."
The 57-year-old begins to jive to music on Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord Walkman, at the end of the video after being irritated by a query about his marital intentions.
He removes his jacket to reveal the back of his t-shirt, which has the image of Groot, and flashes his five fingers, which stand for the day the upcoming superhero movie will be released.
The third and final film in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, directed by James Gunn, is titled 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, and Sylvester Stallone are among the actors who appear in the 32nd installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie is scheduled to premiere on May 5.
'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', an action comedy starring Salman that debuted on April 21, is also currently playing in theatres. Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Shahnaz Gill, Bhumika Chawla, Palak Tiwari, and Raghav Juyal are also included in the cast of the Farhad Samji-directed movie. At the global box office, the movie has already brought in over Rs 160 crore.
