Famous veteran actor Satish Kaushik passes away at 66
Satish Kaushik, a well-known Bollywood actor and filmmaker best known for his performances in Mr. India and Calendar, passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 66. According to reports, Kaushik passed away from a heart attack when he was driving. On March 9, despite efforts by medical professionals to revive Kaushik, he passed away.
His body has been transferred to Deendayal Hospital for a postmortem, and his final rites will be performed once his body is returned to his family at roughly 3 o'clock today. Anupam Kher, a National Award-winning actor and Kaushik's buddy, tweeted to confirm the news of the actor's passing.
In his final social media post, deceased actor Satish Kaushik shared a number of joyful pictures from the Holi celebration he had attended on March 7 at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's home in Mumbai.
Actor Mr. Kaushik appeared in the movies Mr. India, Deewana Mastana, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, and Udta Punjab.
He directed films like "Tere Naam" and "Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain" as well.
In the 2023 movie "Chhatriwali," he last appeared with Rakul Preet Singh and Sumeet Vyas, among others.
