Starring in the year's on of the most anticipated movie, Animal has finally went through it's first weekend and it's box office collection is pretty astonishing just like the audience's reaction the movie is garnering globally. Released on December 1, 2023, Animal has completed it's third day in the theatres and crossed 200 crores in the Indian mainland and Rs. 300 crore worldwide respectively.ย

As per Sunday, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga movie has garnered $3.60 million internationally, bringing the weekend mark to $12.50 million, Rs.104 crore in the overseas market. Comparing the foreign countries, Animal has done exceptional performance in Australia and Canada during it's Friday to Sunday journey. Earning about $1.95 million over the weekend, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer action drama has beaten SRK's Jawan which earned $1.725 million. As per the weekends, the movie has outperformed on Friday and Sunday, overseeing a Saturday downfall. However, it is now expected to perform even better on Monday and earn more than mere expectations. On the other hand, looking at Animal's box office tsunami, it has grossed Rs 356 crore worldwide.ย
What is more striking about Animal is that, the film has secured third position in the list of the biggest first weekend opening of Bollywood, beating Padmaavat, just behind Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan and Jawan, released in January and September 2023 respectively.ย
