Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, '12th Fail' explores the lives of UPSC aspirants, drawing inspiration from real-life experiences and the challenging journey of millions of students attempting the UPSC entrance exam.
Speaking about his role in the film, Vikrant Massey shared, "The movie is very typical Vidhu Vinod Chopra movie which is based on hard reality and is a very hard-hitting film. The role was very challenging. I had to lose weight and darken my skin."
12th Fail' is a biographical drama adapted from Anurag Pathak's bestselling novel of the same name. The narrative revolves around Manoj Kumar Sharma, hailing from a humble background in Chambal, who, after failing his 12th standard exams, fearlessly embarks on a journey to rewrite his academic destiny.
