Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Unveil Title of Upcoming Spy Universe Film 'Alpha'; Filming Begins

Alia Bhatt has finally revealed the title of her much-anticipated film in the Spy Universe series. The movie, titled "Alpha," marks another exciting chapter in Yash Raj Films' (YRF) expanding spy franchise. The announcement was made on Friday morning through Alia's Instagram, where she shared a teaser video confirming that the shooting for the film has commenced.

In the captivating clip, the word 'Alpha' is prominently displayed as Alia’s voiceover introduces the film’s theme: “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehle akshar aur hamare program ka motto. Sabse pehle, sabse tez, sabse veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har shahar mein ek jungle hai aur har jungle mein raaj karega ek Alpha."

The announcement has generated significant buzz among netizens, who expressed their excitement in the comments section. “You go girlsss✨,” one fan wrote. Another enthusiastically added, “Aaagh! Screaming my aloo.” A third comment read, “Alreadyyy so exciteddd!!!!!”

YRF's Spy Universe has been a notable presence in the film industry, featuring strong female leads in high-octane roles. Before Alia and newcomer Sharvari Wagh, renowned actresses like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have portrayed formidable spies in this cinematic universe. Katrina’s portrayal of ISI agent Zoya in the Tiger franchise and Deepika’s role as ISI spy Rubina in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan have been well-received by audiences. Sharvari Wagh, a rising talent in Bollywood, has also joined the Spy Universe.
