“Ahaan has waited for 5 years preparing himself for his debut under Aditya Chopra’s guidance. He was called to YRF to sign the dotted line for this film and he was ecstatic. Ahaan was emotional too. For him, it was a surreal moment,” added a source. 

"Ahaan has been groomed by Aditya Chopra for years, focusing on honing his craft. YRF kept him under wraps to allow him to concentrate on improving his skills. The source further shares that Ahaan underwent auditions and screen tests supervised by Mohit Suri, who was looking for a fresh, charismatic actor to be the quintessential romantic hero in his film. Impressed by Ahaan's potential, Mohit Suri is excited about the collaboration.
