After Farzi and Bloody Daddy, Shahid Kapoor gears himself up for his upcoming OTT investigative thriller 'Koi Shaq'

Shahid Kapoor is one of the most acing actor of the Bollywood industry who has given numerous filmy characters from ultra rom-coms to some action packed punches and the actor surely lacked in none. Previously, Mr. Kapoor has landed into the realm of OTT and provided the audience with superhit web show such as Farzi on Amazon Prime and film Bloody Daddy on Jio Cinema. With Farzi, the star has received critical acclamation that made him follow with an another masterclass performance in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bloody Daddy.

Shahid's upcoming project

After acing in both the OTT ensemble, Shahid in no time has decided to make his comeback. As per the reports, he will be commencing shoots for Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews’ upcoming film 'Koi Shaq' from the second week of October, 2023. Earlier, the movie was surfacing into it's post production period and finally made the announcement for coming up into the floors from the next month onwards, as well was decided to wrap up it's shooting by the end of the year. Meanwhile, this is will be Shahid's another investigative thriller to add up onto his filmy career. 

According to a source, "Shahid has been committed to this film since last year, but its progress was delayed due to the script's development. Finally, everything has fallen into place, and Shahid has accommodated his dates from mid-October. The director and his team have resumed the preparation and are all energized to get into shooting". 

About 'Koi Shaq'

Helmed by Rosshan Andrrews, the movie will be produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the production of Zee Studios. The investigative thriller will bring Shahid Kapoor in the pivotal role wherein a carefree police officer will seek on uncovering deceit and betrayal amid investigating a truly high profile case. On the other hand, Indian actress Pooja Hegde has been slatted for playing the opposite role to Shahid, while the rest of the casts have not been disclosed yet but expected to be finalized in the coming weeks of October. 

Meanwhile, the actor has previously finished his shooting for Dinesh Vijan's untitled robot rom-com where Shahid will be seen opposite to Mimi actress Kriti Sanon.
