Aamir Khan announces his upcoming movie 'Sitaare Zameen par'; Claims it be similar plot to Taare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan is one of the most beloved actor of the Indian film industry. with acing prowess of cinematic skills, the man has contributed immensely to the realm of Indian entertainment. The starry star has recently sat on an interview with renown media News18 where he was heard speaking about various topics, from cinema to his daughter's marriage. While putting light on his upcoming projects, Mr. Khan revealed about his upcoming movie 'Sitaare Zameen Par'.

Aamir Khan while talking about 'Sitaare Zameen Par' 

Well this is the first time of such a context coming into light as no earlier news have surfaced about the name or about the movie. The actor has announced about the upcoming project during the interview and also revealed that the plot will somehow take you back to his 2007 movie 'Taare Zameen Par', but also had put light how the makers of the movie 'Sitaare Zameen Par' will take the storyline 10 steps ahead. While referring about the movie, he said, "I have not spoken about it publicly and I won't be able to say much now also. But I can tell the title. The title of the film is Sitare Zameen Par. You must have remembered my film Taare Zameen Par and the name of this film is Sitare Zameen Par because we are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme. Taare Zameen Par was an emotional film, this film will make you laugh. That film made you cry this one will entertain you."

The Storyline of 'Sitaare Zameen Par' 

Unveiling some deatils into the film's plot he continued saying, "But the theme is the same that's why we kept this name very thoughtfully. We all have flaws, we all have weaknesses, but we all also have something special, so we are taking forward this theme but this time the character of the special child Ishaan in that film, my character helps that character in Taare Zameen Par, in Sitaare Zameen Par, those 9 boys, who have their own issues they help me. It's the opposite."

Speaking about his professional front, the actor was last seen in Advait Chandan's 'Laal Singh Chadha' released in 2022. Along with the upcoming project, Khan also revealed about his upcoming projects that will be produced by him - as stated, the list includes Laapata Ladies under the directorial of Kiran Rao, another movie directed by his son Junaid Khan and Lahore 1947.
