Bhumi has always contributed for the environment where she has now started the zero wastage and zero plastic policy on the set of ‘Badhaai Do’. She has been shooting the film at Dehradun and on the sets she has been making difference by carrying forward the zero wastage and zero plastic policy.

She has been vocal about the support she has got from her unit where the use of plastic has been replaced by steel water bottles instead. The actress also mentioned that the garbage produced on the film sets is sizeable and the decrease in consumption of single use plastic can make huge amount of difference.

Similar steps are being followed by the actress on the sets of ‘Durgamati’,where she makes an effort to distribute the excess food to the needy.
