Baani Sandhu to debut with Punjabi movie 'Medal'; shares picture

Baani Sandhu in Punjabi movie: Punjabi artists have never shied away to experiment with something new and different for their fans. After garnering much love as a singer, Baani Sandhu is now all set to mark her acting debut with the upcoming Punjabi movie 'Medal'.

Yes, you read that correctly. Baani Sandhu is now trying her hands at acting as well and the singer recently confirmed the same through her social media accounts.

Baani Sandhu shared a picture in which she was seen holding a clapboard that reads 'Medal'. While sharing the picture she wrote, "Waheguru Mehar Kare' and sought blessings from the Almighty.

As per the reports, Baani Sandhu will be making her debut opposite Jayy Randhawa who has managed to enthrall the audience with his numerous Punjabi movies. However, nothing much about the film's plot can be described till the makers reveal something much about the same.

Baani Sandhu has previously contributed to a long list of Punjabi tracks that has managed to rule the chart-busters list. '8 Parche' was one of the most popular tracks by the singer that made her gain recognition overseas as well.

'Medal' is being helmed by Maneesh Bhatt who has previously directed 'Chobbar', 'Panchhi', 'Shikari', and many others.

As Baani Sandhu marks her Punjabi movie debut, her fans and friends are also excited about her upcoming projects.
