Baahubali director SS Rajamouli makes big announcement, reveals plans for making 'Mahabharat'

SS Rajamouli! It's not just a name, it's a brand now. SS Rajamouli is known to make big blockbuster movies and now he has revealed his plans for making 'Mahabharat'.

Director SS Rajamouli's most anticipated epic drama, 'RRR', featuring Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, smashed the box office records ever since opening.

It surpassed Baahubali 2 to become the biggest opener ever in the history of Indian cinema, both in India and worldwide.

RRR garnered a whopping amount of Rs 1115 crore gross worldwide. As per the Mint, SS Rajamouli revealed his plans for making Mahabharat. Well, who can do this better than Rajamoui?

SS Rajamouli said that Mahabharat is his long-cherished dream project. However, it will take a long time before he takes it on. The film would probably be churned out after 3-4 movies.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli's directorial 'RRR' continues to set new benchmarks in Hollywood. After receiving praises from several across the world, the film has now added another feather to its cap. It ended up as the runner-up at the Hollywood Critics Association midseason awards.
