'Avatar The Way of Water' Box Office Collection Day 2: James Cameron's film to surpass '100 Cr' mark in India

'Avatar The Way of Water' Box Office Collection Day 2: 'Avatar: The Way of Water', the 2009 sequel to 'Avatar', made its Indian theatre premiere on December 16, almost after 13 long years. 'Avatar 2' is the second-biggest Hollywood opening of all time in India and obtained staggering Rs 40 crore mark.

 

'Avatar: The Way of Water' had the second-biggest Hollywood launch of all time in India with a whopping Rs 40 crore at the box office. On day 2, December 17, the movie did better than expected and witnessed a considerable increase in its take. In just two days, Avatar 2 raised more than Rs 100 crore.

The James Cameron-directed movie generated between Rs 40.50 and Rs 50 million on its opening day on December 16, according to market figures. As a result, Avatar 2 has surpassed its predecessor at the Indian box office. The collection for Day 2 of 'Avatar 2' were between Rs. 44 and Rs. 46 crores.

It is worth an astounding Rs. 1500 crore on the global market. Over the course of its opening weekend in India, Avatar 2 is projected to earn more than Rs 130 crore. The film may even make more than Rs 200 crore in its opening week.

The Way of Water, the sequel to Avatar, will be released on December 16 more than ten years after the first film. The story follows the Sully family, which consists of Jake, Neytiri, and their children.

The movie featured Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana, Kate Winslet, and others. The movie 'Avatar: The Way of Water' was released in theaters on December 16, 2022, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
