The Harassment Controversy:

The source of the harassment can be traced back to a collage that featured images of the wrestlers seated in a bus alongside police officers. In the first picture, both wrestlers appeared serious, while in the second, they were captured laughing. Uorfi voiced her displeasure regarding the inclusion of a fake photo within the collage, criticizing the person responsible for its creation.

Instances of Misconduct:

During the wrestlers' detainment, reports emerged highlighting incidents of misconduct. Some of these incidents involved the treatment of female wrestlers as well as certain police personnel. However, Sakshi Malik's team, a prominent female wrestler, has refuted the allegations of misconduct, asserting that they are baseless.

Imposition of Fear and Clarification:

A tweet from Sakshi Malik's account sought to clarify the situation, stating that false rumors were being spread regarding her alleged assault on a police officer. The tweet emphasized that Sakshi was forcefully pulled and thrown into the bus, which was captured on live cameras. It was also mentioned that she experienced pain and felt scared during the detention, as mistreatment was inflicted upon her.

Resumption of Protest:

Sakshi Malik further declared that the wrestlers' protest was not over. Once released from custody, they vowed to resume their agitation at Jantar Mantar. The objective behind their continued protest is to assert their opposition to any form of dictatorship and to fight for the rights and dignity of female wrestlers.
