Preliminary investigations indicate that Gupta and Pal were allegedly hired by the gang associated with incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to carry out the attack. Despite Salman Khan's presence at his residence during the attack, fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported. Following the firing, the suspects abandoned their motorcycle near a church, opting for an autorickshaw to reach Bandra railway station. The incident has brought to light the persistent threats posed by individuals associated with Lawrence Bishnoi and wanted gangster Goldie Brar against Salman Khan. Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, claimed responsibility for the attack on social media platforms.
