Khosla ka Ghosla: Anupam Kher, Boman Irani's Cult Classic Set for 3 Regional Language Remakes

Khosla ka Ghosla: 'Khosla Ka Ghosla,' starring renowned actors Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, is about to undergo an exciting transformation plan to remake the film in Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi languages.

The iconic comedy film 'Khosla Ka Ghosla,' featuring actors Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, is set to receive a fresh makeover. The news broke at the Busan International Film Festival's Asian Contents and Film Market, where remakes of the film in Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi languages were officially announced. 


Originally directed by Dibakar Banerjee, this 2006 classic also starred Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, and Tara Sharma in significant roles. The film's storyline revolves around Khosla, a retired middle-class man in Delhi, who embarks on a mission to reclaim his land from a cunning property dealer with the assistance of his sons and their friends.


As per reports, the Kannada version will be helmed by Adarsh Eshwarappa, known for his work on "Shuddhi." Vinod Anantoju, the director of "Middle Class Melodies," will be in charge of the Telugu adaptation, while Kedar Shinde, famous for "Baipan Bhari Deva," will direct the Marathi version.


Vinod Anantoju shared his personal connection to the film, explaining how the themes in "Khosla Ka Ghosla!" are universally relatable and timeless. He believes that the Telugu audience will embrace the movie just as he does, as the story's core problems still resonate with people across the country.

"Khosla Ka Ghosla!" is not just a comedy classic but also a narrative with enduring relevance and universal appeal. The upcoming regional language remakes promise to bring this beloved story to new audiences while preserving its timeless charm and addressing significant societal issues.
