Filmmaker Karan Johar stopped at the airport by the security; know why

Karan Johar's video is surfacing on the internet which shows he was being stopped at the Mumbai airport by a security official. Fans were also found reacting to the video.

Karan Johar news: Karan Johar has always remained in the headlines for some controversies. The director often hosts parties, goes out for vacations and shares videos of his kids on social media. Recently, the filmmaker was stopped at the airport by security officials.

Karan Johar was stopped at the Mumbai airport 

The director was spotted entering Mumbai International airport. While he was entering the gates he was stopped by security as he skipped showing his identity card so the security official called him back to check on his ID proof. However, after showing his ID card he was allowed to enter the airport.

Moving on, the filmmaker opted for a black T-shirt and white jacket paired with black joggers. Then, he carried a big bag and completed his look by wearing black sunglasses.


Karan Johar receives backlash from the viewers

In addition to this, as soon as the video went viral online, he had to suffer a lot of backlash from the viewers as they commented on the video. Some wrote “No one is a celebrity when it comes to airport security” whereas some wrote, “These people feel so entitled that they think there’s no need to show documents or follow rules”. 


Karan Johar's upcoming project

Earlier, Karan had announced the wrap-up of his upcoming movie 'Rock Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' which stars Alai Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. Then, he also shared some behind-the-scenes pictures on his social media. Lastly, the film is slated to release on July 28, 2023.
