Ayushmann Khurrana Receives TIME100 Impact Award for His Inspiring Contributions
Ayushmann Khurrana: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has received the prestigious TIME 100 Impact Award.
Bollywood sensation Ayushmann Khurrana has received the prestigious TIME 100 Impact Award this year, a recognition reserved for exceptional individuals. His remarkable contributions to pushing the boundaries of content in the Indian entertainment industry through his groundbreaking films, along with his outstanding advocacy for child rights protection as the UNICEF Ambassador, have earned him this esteemed honor from TIME Magazine.
Ayushmann stands as the sole Indian recipient of the TIME 100 Impact Award for this year. Notably, this marks the second time in just three years that TIME has chosen to celebrate Ayushmann's accomplishments. The first instance was in 2020 when he was included in the TIME 100 list, acknowledging him as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the world.
Ayushmann reacts to this major announcement saying, “This is the second time that the prestigious TIME Magazine has chosen to recognise the work that I do on camera as well as off it. I’m proud as well as humbled with this honour from TIME Magazine because it validates my core belief system as an artiste and a human being trying to affect positive social change.”
Ayushmann further says, “And I shall also continue to work hard as the UNICEF Ambassador to aid as many children in need in my country. I want to make a difference through my craft and my actions so that the people too can join me in making this nation better for our future generations.”
In addition to this, Ayushmann Khurrana's most recent release 'Dream Girl 2' entered the 100 Crore club at the box office. The film was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
