Vicky Kaushal pays obeisance at Gurudwara after his big win at IIFA 2022 Awards
IIFA 2022 Awards: Vicky Kaushal, who rose to fame after the blockbuster film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', is currently on cloud nine as his 2021 historical drama, 'Sardar Udham', won three awards at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2022's Technical Awards.
The three awards that Vicky Kaushal's 'Sardar Udham' won at IIFA 2022 Awards include the best cinematography, editing, and special effects. The actor garnered so much praise for the highly anticipated film.

The film is based on the life of Sardar Udham Singh, a freedom fighter from Punjab. Udham Singh had assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.
Helmed by Shoojit Sircar, the film was produced by Sheel Kumar and also featured Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar.

Meanwhile, the actor shared a picture on his Instagram in which he can be seen seeking blessings at a gurudwara.
In the photo, Vicky Kaushal is seen wearing an all-white traditional outfit as he pays obeisance at a gurdwara. He captioned it: "Nirbhau. Nirvair."

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is working on director Laxman Utekar's yet-to-be-titled film with Sara Ali Khan. He is also working on films Govinda Naam Mera alongside Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar, and Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur, based on the life of India's first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
