The narrative took an interesting turn as Kaushal delved into an incident that unfolded during the shooting of 'Dunki.' Shah Rukh Khan, with an unavoidable commitment in Delhi, had to miss a crucial scene involving Kaushal. In a testament to his professionalism, Shah Rukh Khan reached out to Vicky late at night, expressing his regret for not being able to be present during the shoot.
"While filming, Shah Rukh sir had to urgently travel to Delhi for a crucial commitment, and rescheduling was not an option. The scene in question was pivotal for my character, and it involved him. Since he couldn't be present for the shot, I had to perform with a body double. After completing his work in Delhi, Shah Rukh called me late at night, but I couldn't answer due to a prior engagement," Kaushal recounted.
The sincerity of Shah Rukh Khan's apology manifested in a thoughtful message, a simple yet powerful 'Sorry.' Kaushal went on to narrate, "Following that, Shah Rukh Khan sent me a lengthy message, expressing, 'Vicky, we'll redo it. Who handled the shot? Please forgive me for not being there during the shoot.' Subsequently, I had to call him, reassure him that everything was satisfactory, and Raju sir (Rajkumar Hirani) approved of the shot. I was apprehensive at that moment, wondering if I could successfully reshoot the scene."
